  • This is the age at which the eyesight starts to weaken, and you need an eye check up. Many people do not get eyesight checked and squint due to strain while reading or looking at something. This results in wrinkling around the eyes. There is no need to be shy of wearing eye glasses, if needed. Buy some good frame and you will look better.
  • At this age the skin starts to lose moisture and the style of makeup needs to be changed. An expert will be able to guide you in this regard. You may have to stop applying powder and concentrate more on moisturisers and primers. Never stop applying makeup and dressing up properly. This way you will make your mind feel younger.
  • By this time your hair may start to grey and need coloring. Select a proper hair color which is nearer to the original color of your hair. Preferably select the color slightly lighter than the original. Try out new hair styles.
  • At this age your teeth will also need a makeover. Due to various reasons the teeth tend to turn yellowish and certain deposits are formed on the teeth roots. Bleaching can be done at home using tooth paste with bleaching agent.
  • Get adequate sleep. At this age your body will need slightly more rest as compared to when you were in your thirties. If possible rest for a few minutes after lunch. Get seven hours of sound sleep at night. Inadequate sleep and rest will make you look older.
  • Stand straight. Some people start to bend when standing. Standing straight will make you look more confident and slender. Self esteem is reflected in good posture. Standing and walking straight add confidence.
  • Whenever you get an opportunity laugh as much as possible. Laughing and smiling will lift the corners of your mouth and the wrinkles, if any, on your face will become less noticeable.
