How To Get Strong Healthy Fingernails?

Balanced Diet

Vitamins for strong nails: Nutritious diet and eating patterns help every part of the body to stay healthy. A diet comprising of Vitamins A, E and Biotin is very important to make the nails strong. Vitamin A is abundant in greens, yellow and orange vegetables. Nuts and green leafy vegetables are good source of Vitamin E. Vitamin B which is Biotin is plentiful in eggs, almonds, soya beans and sweet potatoes.

Plenty of water and liquids keep the body hydrated and protects the nails from drying and peeling. It’s essential to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water everyday. Gelatine dietary supplements in liquid form would be taken to build nail strengthen and thicken the weak nails.

Nail Care

Nail strengtheners and treatments use various techniques and ingredients to strengthen the nail and protect them breaking. Nail fortifiers which comprise of protein and calcium supplements make the nails stronger. Strengtheners with panthenol maintain the moisture content of the nail to make them more flexible and reduce the chances of breakage.  To protect the nails from peeling and splitting an additive comprising of Teflon is used to create a hard nail surface. These treatments are not one off and the schedule should be followed religiously to good results. Only orange sticks, special nail tools that are rounded should be used to clean the underside of the nails. Using the pencils or pens to dial phones also protects the nails from breaking.
